“God With Us”

Advent invites us to remember that God does not remain distant or indifferent—He comes near. In Jesus, God steps into our world, our stories, our struggles, and our hopes. This four-week series explores the traditional Advent themes of Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love, showing how each one is fulfilled in Christ’s coming and continues to transform our lives today. Together we will reflect on what it means that God is truly with us—Emmanuel—and how His presence reshapes our waiting, our worship, and our world.

God With Us
Encountering Joy at Christmas

Sunday, December 14, 2025

Speaker: Dwayne Cline

In the quiet yet profound moments in Luke 2:21–40, where Mary, Joseph, Simeon, and Anna each encounter the joy that God brings through Jesus, we see how God reveals joy not through grand spectacle but through faithful obedience, patient waiting, and the recognition of His salvation arriving in a child.

God With Us
The God who Moves Towards Us

Sunday, December 21, 2025

Speaker: Chris Kovac

This Advent, we pause to remember the love that didn’t stay distant. In 1 John 4:9–12, John reminds us that God’s love is not an idea, but an action; revealed, embodied, and perfected in Jesus Christ. Because God stepped into our world in love, we are invited, and empowered, to love one another with that same self-giving grace.
